Samsung’s Exynos SoC Will Be Unveiled On November 14, Expected To Power Galaxy S10

Samsung will be hosting an event on November 14 to launch its next-generation Exynos SoC. It is expected that it will be the flagship level offering processor. The processor is highly likely expected to come inside the Samsung S10 and later on the Note 10 and it will be the successor to the Exynos 9810, which currently powers the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note 9.

Samsung has not revealed what this new chipset will be called but if rumours are gonna be right then the new coming processor will be called Exynos 9820. Samsung’s new chip is reported to be built on the new 7-nm LPP(Low Power Plus) process that will be produced with the help of EUV lithography technology. The Exynos 9820 is expected to deliver a 20 percent improvement in performance by reducing the power consumption by up to 50 percent at the same time.

Samsung teaser image posted on the Official Twitter Handle of SamsungExynos shows the tagline”Intelligence from Within”, hinting at a dedicated AI neural processing unit(NPU) inside the new chip. Another report state that the Exynos 9820 SoC will include a dual-core NPU to offer an enhanced AI(Artificial Intelligence) experience.

If we go with the leaks then the new SoC of Samsung, Exynos 9820 will come with Mali-G76 MP18 GPU. The processor will have eight CPU cores- a combination of dual Exynos M4 cores, dual Cortex A75/A76 cores and four Cortex A55 cores.
