Xiaomi India on Saturday announced that it is hiking the price of it’s two affordable phones( Redmi 6A, Redmi 6), Mi Powerbank 2i, Mi TV. To announce about it, Xiaomi has taken the official twitter handle of Xiaomi India. Xiaomi in a statement on Twitter said that the hiking of these products is necessary due to ” rupees has depreciated against the dollar by nearly 15% since the beginning of the year, which has resulted in a significant rise in input cost for us.”
Xiaomi Redmi 6A(2GB+16GB) variant have a price hike of Rs. 600 and have a pricing of Rs. 6,599 and the 2GB+32GB variant of Xiaomi Redmi 6A gets a price hike of Rs. 500 and now priced at Rs. 7,499.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6(3GB+32GB) have a price hike of Rs. 500 and will now retail at Rs. 8,499. As of now, the 3GB+64GB variant’s price remains unchanged.
The Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32 and Mi LED TV Pro 49 will now available to at Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 31,999, after hiking of Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 2,000 respectively.
The Mi Power Bank 2i(10,000 mAh) will also face a hike in pricing and available to buy at Rs. 899, after a price hiking of Rs. 100.
