Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 Expected To Launch on December 4 in Hawaii

[wordpress_file_upload]Qualcomm is all set to launch its new chipset on December 4 in Hawaii which is rumoured as Snapdragon 8150. Some rumours say that this new SoC will be named as Snapdragon 855. So the official name will be announced by the company at the launch.

So coming to the topic, As per new leak by Ice Universe, the launch of Qualcomm’s new SoC is set to December 4 in Hawaii during the Qualcomm Technology Summit. In last year’s Qualcomm Technology Summit we will see that in that summit Qualcomm launched its Snapdragon 845 SoC. As per this leak, it is interesting to get that new SoC will be called Snapdragon 8150, not Snapdragon 845. The Adreno 640 GPU is also expected to available for Snapdragon 8150 as a graphics card.

Some rumours also say that Samsung Galaxy S10 will be the first smartphone to feature this flagship SoC. As per info, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 will have four low power Kryo Silver Cores with a 128KB L2 per core running at approx. 1.8GHz max, Three Kryo Gold Cores with a 256KB L2 cache per core running at 2.419GHz or approx. 2.5 GHz max and last but not least a single Kryo Gold core with the L2 cache of 512KB and maximum frequency of 2.842GHz. There is not any other information from Ice Universe. It promises a 20% bump in overall efficiency compared to Snapdragon 845 and will most-likely include 5G connectivity.
