Oppo R17 Pro has been launched in India. The smartphone is priced in India at Rs. 45,990 and available in 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage variant in India. The company also has launched Oppo R17 which is priced at Rs. 34,990 and no availability was detailed by the company.
The smartphones are Amazon Exclusive and pre-orders for R17 Pro has already begun from 9:30 pm IST today. To recall, Oppo R17 Pro was launched in China in August this year. Oppo R17 Pro is a premium mid-range device which has an edge-to-edge display, triple rear cameras and in-display fingerprint sensor. Oppo R17 Pro has also several launch offers which include extra Rs. 2,000 off on exchange, one time replacement and no-cost EMI. Reliance Jio is also offering up to 3.2TB 4G Data along with benefits up to Rs. 4,990.

The dual-SIM Smartphone has 6.4-inch FHD+(2340×1080) AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.5 with a drop-like notch display with the protection of latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded via MicroSD card up to 256GB in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. The smartphone is running on Android 8.1 Oreo with Oppo’s Custom ColorOS 5.1.

On Camera basis, it has triple rear camera setup which includes 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.5-2.4 aperture, a 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.6 aperture and a third sensor which is actually a TOF(Time Of Fight) 3D stereo camera. On the front, It has a 25-megapixel selfie camera as well as AI Beauty Camera beautification with a live preview option.
The smartphone is backed by a battery of 3,700 mAh with support for the company’s proprietary Super VOOC fast charging technology (10V/5A, up to 50W), said to charge the phone up to 40 percent in 10 minutes. On Connectivity basic, It includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac(dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C(v3.1) with OTG functionality and NFC. On Board Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass gyroscope and proximity sensor.
