For this, you have to deactivate your Facebook account. In deactivation, your account still available but not active on Facebook. When you want to activate your account you can activate your account.

When the window opened go to the end of the page and click on Deactivate. Click on it and enter the password after it your account will get deactivated. Then select a reason and Click on Deactivate.
