Honor 8A smartphone’s renders and specifications leaked ahead of the launch. Honor 8A is the upcoming smartphone from Huawei’s Sub-brand Honor, is set to launch on January 8, 2019, in China. New leaked renders are leaked by DroidShout while we have already seen some photos of the device last month on TENAA.

The leaked renders which are leaked by DroidShout suggest that the smartphone will be available in two colour variants include- Blue & Black while leaked renders also suggest that the smartphone has a dewdrop notch display. The smartphone could feature a single front camera. It is also rumoured that the smartphone could sport a dual-tone glass design. The leaked renders also show that the smartphone doesn’t have dual rear camera setup like Honor 7A. It is also expected that the smartphone has a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

Honor 8A Rumoured Specifications :

As per the leaked specifications by DroidShout, the smartphone has a 6.09-inch HD+(1560×720 pixels) IPS display and 283 ppi with a dewdrop notch. It is also rumoured that the smartphone is powered by the 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, coupled with 3GB and 32GB/64GB storage variants. There will also be an option to expand the storage of the smartphone with MicroSD card slot with up to 512GB. The smartphone is also rumoured that the smartphone will run on EMUI 9.0 on top of Android 9.0 Pie.

On Imaging capability, the smartphone is expected to have an 8MP on the front with fixed focus-lens and f/2.0 aperture. On the back, the smartphone is rumoured to sport a 13MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and phase-detection autofocus. The smartphone could be expected that it has 3,020 mAh battery. There is not any fingerprint sensor on the back so it is expected that the smartphone will rely on Face Unlock for identification. The smartphone measurements could be 56.28×73.5×8.0mm.
