Google has introduced a new 4G feature phone, called the WizPhone WP006. It looks like Google is now want to get into the feature phone market. It does look like and probably works like the JioPhone. It is powered by the same KaiOS that also powers the JioPhone and JioPhone 2.

The WizPhone WP006 is priced in Indonesia at IDR 99,000 which is approximately Rs 500. In India, Not only JioPhone is a 4G feature phone Nokia 8110 also is also 4G feature phone and is also powered by KaiOS. WizPhone WP006 comes with Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Search and other pre-installed apps.

It also comes with the support of Facebook, WhatsApp and Youtube. To recall, KaiOS had announced the support for all of these apps earlier this year. Google has also invested into KaiOS. The WizPhone WP006 is a feature phone but some smart functionality built into it. It comes with the special version of WhatsApp installed on it.

The WizPhone WP006 comes with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, a 2.4-inch screen, 2-megapixel rear camera and VGA front camera, 1800mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8905 chipset paired with Adreno 304 GPU. For now, there is not any news on if Google will also bring WP006 to India but if the company decides to bring WP006 to India then it would give tough competition to JioPhone and JioPhone 2 which are priced at Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,999 respectively.
