Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2, Successor of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is set to launch on December 11. Asus has confirmed that it is launching the Zenfone Max Pro M2 in Indonesia on December 11. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 firstly made available in India but there is not an announcement about Zenfone Max Pro M2 launch in India.
The Asus Indonesia confirmed the launch on their twitter handle that the Zenfone Max Pro M2 will launch in Indonesia on December 11. The company’s tweet reveals less but it shows that it will be a gaming phone hinting at powerful innards and efficient heat dissipation technology. There is also less render on Google play Console’s device catalogue which spots the upcoming phone with the model number ASUS_X01BD_1 having 6GB RAM and based on Android 8.0(Oreo). It is worth noticing that the listing comes with a warning that shows,’ device specifications are provided by the manufacturer and have not been confirmed’.
The render which was spotted on XDA developers shows the front of the device only and it hints that Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a display notch, on-screen navigations buttons and a short bezel at the bottom of the display. The previous leak suggests that Zenfone Max Pro M2 has triple camera setup on the rear. According to Roland Quandt’s tweet, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 (ZB631KL) has a 6-inch FHD+ display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage, triple rear camera, 13-megapixel front camera. The Zenfone Max M2(ZB633KL) will sport 6-inch display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, 4GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage, dual rear camera setup, 13-megapixel front camera.
