Asus has confirmed that Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is set to launch on December 11 in India. This new smartphone will be a successor of Zenfone Max Pro M1, which proved a hit for Asus. To announce the company posted a short video on its Official Twitter handle. It is also confirmed that like Zenfone Max Pro M1, this new smartphone will also be a Flipkart exclusive. Asus has revealed two specs about the smartphone which are – it has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 Protection and it features a notched display.

Asus also made the video available on its other social platform handles like Facebook. On the post on Facebook and on Tweet on Twitter, reads” “The unrivalled champion of mid-range is ready to begin its dominance with the most durable screen in the segment – Corning Gorilla Glass6″. The word “Mid-Range” in the tweet shows that Zenfone Max Pro M2 could be launch around the price range of its predecessor, Zenfone Max Pro M1.
To recall, The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 was launched in India in April this year, offering a massive 5,000 mAh battery and a solid set of the specs at a good value.
As per the leak from WinFuture.de, both the smartphones – Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Asus Zenfone Max M2 could feature 6-inch displays, with tipped to start at 4GB/6GB RAM variant and an 8GB RAM variant for Zenfone Max Pro M2. According to the report, Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset while Zenfone Max M2 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, same chipset like Zenfone Max Pro M1.
