Asus has started rolling out an update to all Zenfone Max Pro M1(3GB, 4GB) smartphone users. The new update comes with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) support for Video Recording and live wallpapers. In October, Asus has rolled out EIS video support update for the 6GB variant of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and had then promised that it would roll it out for the 3GB & 4GB RAM variant as well.
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 FOTA update version WW_Phone-15.2016.1810.337-20181106 brings EIS support for both 3GB+32GB internal storage and 4GB+64GB internal storage variants. The update also brings the live wallpaper. The update is rolling out in a phased manner, so it means that not all users will see the update immediately. To check the update follow these steps – Open Settings>System>System Update>Click On Check Now

To recall, The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 launched in India in April. The 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of Zenfone Max Pro M1 sport dual rear camera setup ( 13-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture.) and has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture on the front. The 6GB RAM variant comes with upgraded cameras, it has dual rear camera setup ( 16-megapixel primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5-megapixel secondary camera with f.2.4 aperture) and 16-megapixel front camera.
