Asus has officially launched its new smartphone from ROG brand which is called Asus ROG, on Thursday. Asus unveiled the ROG phone at Computex 2018 in June. The main highlight that it is claimed to be the world’s first smartphone with a 3D vapour-chamber cooling system and also features a carbon pad and copper spreader for additional cooling.

The main noticeable feature of the smartphone include ultrasonic AirTrigger touch sensors, a gamercentric design with side-mounted ports optimised for landscape mode.
Asus ROG phone price, launch offers :
Asus ROG phone is priced at Rs. 69,990 for 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart starting today. The launch offer includes Flipkart’s Complete Mobile Protection plan at Rs. 999. The company has also launched a number of accessories including a professional dock for Rs. 5,490, Gamevice(Joystick) for Rs. 5,999, TwinView dock for Rs. 21,999, Desktop dock for Rs. 12,999 and ROG phone case for Rs 2,499. Asus ROG comes with a range of gaming focused Hardware and Software features.

Asus ROG phone Specifications :
On the specifications, it includes a 6-inch FHD+ (1080×2160) AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with 90Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time with HDR. Additionally, the smartphone’s display comes with 108.6 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and 10000:1 contrast ratio. Asus ROG phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC clocked up to 2.96 GHz along with Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU. The Smartphone comes with 8GB RAM variant. Asus has bundled a massive 4,000 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 on the bottom port and Quick Charge 4.0(30W) on the side-mounted port.
The ROG phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Asus’ ZEN UI on top. Asus ROG has dual rear camera setup which has a 12-megapixel (SonyIMX363 sensor with f/2.2 ) and 8-megapixel (120-degree wide-angle sensor) and LED flash. On the front, It has an 8-megapixel sensor. The smartphone supports face unlock and fingerprint scanner at the back too.
On Connectivity basis, it include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ad, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. On-board sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor and ultrasonic trigger sensor.
The Smartphone also feature Asus Aura RGB lighting and Aura Sync support and Asus HyperCharge direct-charge technology. The on-board 802.11ad WiGig allows faster connectivity, pertinent for online games. A WiGig Dock accessory allows the ROG phone to mirror content to a larger screen.
