Asus is all set to launch its flagship gaming phone, The ROG phone in India on November 29. Asus unveiled the ROG phone at Computex 2018 in June. The Taiwanese company has sent out media invites for the India launch of Asus ROG. The gaming smartphone was unveiled this year.
It comes with a 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with 90Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time. The ROG phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC with Adreno 630 GPU, clocked up to 2.96 GHz and 8GB RAM. There are two storage variants – 128GB and 512 GB. Asus has bundled a massive 4,000 mAh battery with Asus HyperCharge technology which is a direct charge technology that delivers more power( up to 20W) for shorter and safer charge time.

The ROG phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Asus’ ZEN UI on top. Asus ROG has dual rear camera setup which has a 12-megapixel primary sensor and 8-megapixel secondary sensor and LED flash. On the front, It has an 8-megapixel sensor. The smartphone supports face unlock and fingerprint scanner at the back too.
On Connectivity basis, You get two USB Type-C ports, one at the bottom and one on the side to connect accessories. There are also a bunch of accessories such as a gaming controller, a Mobile Desktop Dock to transform your phone into a PC, a TwinView Dock with the second screen to play games and more. there is no word on the pricing in India but In the United States, the ROG is priced at $899.
